FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 4, 2001
CLEVELAND, Ohio, September 4, 2001 – e2grow, inc., a leading developer of e-commerce and web site services for small businesses and their local communities, announces the appointment of David Dalton as Director of Creative & Cross-Media Services. He will be based in e2grow's corporate office in Cleveland.
Dalton, former managing editor at Idea-bytes.com and founding publisher of Page One magazine, will initially concentrate on developing content for community web sites set for launch this month in Copley, Fairlawn, Cuyahoga Falls, Hudson, Richfield, Peninsula, and Stow.
Dalton’s other responsibilities include developing e2grow’s cross-media business, which entails integrating the company’s online capabilities with "custom publishing" services, including corporate newsletters and specialty magazines.
"Dave’s experience in both traditional and online publishing allows us to take our business in an additional high-growth direction, and also provide our current client base with some very valuable options in terms of marketing and customer communications," says Dennis Barba Jr., e2grow Chairman and CEO. "The custom publishing business has developed into a billion dollar industry. This ensures that both our clients and investors can take part in the continued growth in that area."
Dalton, a Hudson resident, holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management and a BA from Miami University. In addition to his publishing experience, he has held writing, producing and on-air positions at WKYC-TV3, WOIO-19 and WERE 1300 AM.
